Road Closures from 6am to 6pm

There will be two sections of road/public parking closed and with no parking from 6am to 6pm Saturday, 29 March 2025. We are asking residents not to park their cars there from midnight Friday night, 28 March or risk being awoken early to be asked to move the vehicle:

1. Dorhauer Lane and Queen Street Car Park
2. Victoria Avenue between Queen Street and James Street

Please find below the advice given to local residents in each area.

Notice of Closure of Dorhauer Lane and Queen Street Car Park to traffic 6am to 6pm Saturday, 29 March 2025

As part of the Woollahra Festival 2025 celebrations over the last weekend in March, please be advised of the planned closure of part of Dorhauer Lane and the Queen Street Car Park on Saturday, 29 March 2025.

Dorhauer Lane will be closed between Queen Street and Morton Lane (see map below) between 6am and 6pm to create one of two public Festival Sites. This means that the Queen Street Car Park accessed via Dorhauer Lane will also be closed for this period. Access to garages in Dorhauer Lane and Morton Lane will be via John Street only.

This will allow the installation of a small stage, supporting information booths and public toilets.

Road Closures

The planned public and community program includes performances by the local ballet school, Woollahra Public School Choir, a Community Dog Show competition (best dressed dog, dog with the best trick, dog with the waggiest tail etc.), the Spark Truck for children from Woollahra Library, local entertainers and much more. For further details on the Woollahra Festival 2025, please scan this QR code.

To enable this, please could you ensure all vehicles parked in the Queen Street Car Park are removed by 6am Saturday, 29 March. Ideally please don’t park there after midnight on Friday evening to avoid being woken early and asked to move your car.

Our traffic management company, CATO, will manage the set up and removal of traffic barriers and will be onsite all day.
