FRIDAY
28 MARCH

OPENING NIGHT

LATE NIGHT SHOPPING
Shop in Queen Street from 5pm until late
Showcasing local shops, galleries and artisans, bubbles and canapés and festival specials

 

 

7pm: OFFICIAL LAUNCH
Join us at Parterre, 33 Ocean Street for the official launch of the Woollahra Festival 2025. Welcome and opening by Sarah Swan, Mayor of Woollahra.
Opening event, Champagne and Canapé Night at Parterre. Enjoy great music, canapés and freshly shucked oysters at our oyster bar in the beautiful Parterre courtyard.

  

 

SATURDAY
29 MARCH

COMMUNITY AND FAMILY
BIG DAY OUT

Fun for all at two event hubs

10am—2pm: THE RAY WHITE EVENT HUB FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM
Onstage at Dorhauer Lane. Music and live entertainment, dance troupes, the Woollahra Libraries Spark Truck for kids, face painters and a visit from the Woollahra Fire and Rescue team.

10am—3pm: THE WOOLLAHRA WRITERS’ FESTIVAL
Conversations with some of Australia’s leading writers and thinkers at the Olsen Gallery, 63 Jersey Road Woollahra, Saturday and Sunday sessions

 

 

10am—4pm: DESIGN CONVERSATIONS
Interiors, architecture, landscape and art: two workshops at 10am and 2pm, arranged by Susanna de Vienne from BOYAC and moderated by Laura Garro. Featuring leading experts on designing, building, finishing and furnishing your home. Sessions at Leonard Joel, 36-40 Queen Street   

 

12.30pm—4pm: WOOLLAHRA FESTIVAL GALA LUNCH
Victoria Street Marquee. A magnificent sit-down lunch for 180 people in a beautifully decorated Mediterranean-style marquee in Victoria Avenue, sponsored by Matthew Ely Jewellery and curated by Adele Vittoria. Includes the draw of the Woollahra Festival raffle prize – an aquamarine and diamond gold ring designed by Matthew Ely. Ticketed event, Bookings essential. Bookings open soon.

 

11am—2pm: HISTORIC WALKS THROUGH WOOLLAHRA
Explore the avenues and lanes of Woollahra with the Historic Houses Association on two one-hour guided walks.

 

 

2pm—4pm: THE RAY WHITE EVENT HUB COMMUNITY DOG SHOW
Dorhauer Lane car park. Expert judges, multiple fun categories, exciting prizes for the winners.
Registration opens 1 March

 

 

5.30pm: WOOLLAHRA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA
Reflections, an inspirational program featuring Bizet, Mendelssohn, and Ravel. Ticketed event. Tickets available now.

CULTURAL EVENTS CONTINUE AND THE FESTIVAL FINALE – JAZZ ON THE LAWN AT CHISWICK PARK

10am—2pm: THE WOOLLAHRA WRITERS’ FESTIVAL continues

11am—2pm: CREATIVE CROCHET WORKSHOP WITH LUISE ELSING
Learn to crochet creatively with crochet artisan, Luise Elsing.
